Plus size models make girls and women in general think that it´s okay to be fat when it’s not; therefore, taking their motivation and desire to be healthy. Even though some say that these models represent women, Dr. Ellie Cannon said: “These models are too fat to represent real women” (2015), explaining that what women want is for the media to represent the average. This is not what plus size models are doing, going to the extreme. Why can´t they show real women instead of going to extremes, either extremely skinny or fat?
