The Pitbulls of America African Americans can be described in many ways but the way I describe them is “misunderstood.” Why? That is because to the outside world we come off as rough and scary but in reality we are warm hearted people. We are simply “The Pitbulls of America.” I use that to explain metaphor because pitbulls are portrayed as scary and mean but to those who are close with the pitbull, they know that they’re nice loving dogs. There are many factors of African American culture but I believe the three most important ones are our traditions, values, and sports.
