4P’s of marketing mix has great application in the pharmaceutical sector. The pharmaceutical companies use the marketing mix for their pricing, promotion and supply process. Let’s consider the examples of few pharmaceutical companies. Now look at the example of marketing strategy of Pfizer Company.

PRODUCT Pfizer is one of the world’s largest Parma companies which manufacture the pharmaceuticals and the health care products. The company offers high quality products for their customers. The company works in 9 segments which includes several departments like nutrition, consumer healthcare, animal healthcare, established products, emerging markets, capsuget, oncology, speciality care and the primary care. The company manufactures medicines and vaccinations for treating disease conditions in cardiology, oncology immunology, neurology and dialectology. The final products are well packed with strong and long lasting materials. Atorvastatin, lyrical, Zoloft, Novas etc arte some of the pharmaceutical products manufactured by Pfizer.
