PET or PETE represents polyethylene terephthalate, the most well-known member of the polyester family. It has become incredibly popular for carrying of food and drink packaging purposes because of its strong ability to stand a liquid and gas barrier - so the chance of getting the food’s spoil is lowered and the carbon dioxide that produce fizzing in soft drinks cannot escaped.
