These are the effects of the theory of supply and demand and adjusting to inflammation. As Barack Obama stated: “A basic moral principle that most Americans agree on is no one who works a full time job should live below the poverty line, nor should their family. Yet over time we’ve seen significant growth in the “working poor” –people working full time, sometimes even 60 or more hours each week, but at such low wages that they remain impoverished.” Raising the minimum wage will improve the standards of living for these people who are hard working class Americans, but still cannot afford to live above the poverty line. This system in which our country is imprisoned by forces parents to work unreasonable hours, to not even be able to afford higher education, better food, and a better life for themselves and their families. Increasing the minimum wage will raise the level of students that will have a higher level of education. As the number of education students increases so does the workforce, there are more people that are eligible for jobs, therefore less students that are unemployed and unqualified for the work force. If there is a lesser unemployment rate than the people who live in lower income areas will have stable jobs, therefore having a steady income, allowing the economy in these areas to flourish, allowing the standards of living to rise. As a result of the standards of living raising, the crime in these communities will go down, creating a safer place to live and less illegal criminal activity, therefore less black markets, this means that. It is a common disbelief that raising the minimum wage will create a surplus. A surplus would be created when companies lay off many workers, creating a drastic increase in the labor market. A surplus will be created in the labor market due to a price floor if the minimum wage is raise, a price floor is the lowest you can possibly set the price of the desired object at. By raising this price floor this will create an incentive for the workers which will benefit the economy tremendously. By the workers having an incentive they will being to work harder at their jobs, improving themselves and their work, through this process worker can then later leave
