In the latest poll performed by CNN, roughly 46% of all Americans support strict gun control laws. This is roughly 147,844,000 Americans that support strict gun control laws. However, strict gun control laws are not the best choice for the United States. Current gun control laws are not beneficial to our country. The gun control laws infringe on the rights of citizens, gun control laws do not deter crime, and gun control laws infringe on citizens privacy. Micro-stamping also mandates that a database of these codes and their gun owners must be kept. This violates the rights of the U.S. citizens.
