Drones are aircrafts equipped with cameras for high level surveillance that can track enemies in hard to reach locations. Drones do not have a pilot, so they operate by pilots on the ground by a remote control. The United States Government has decided to use drones after the 9/11 attack. The U.S. military reacted by tracking and targeting Al Qaeda leaders who were hidden in the mountains or other countries like Afghanistan, Yamen, Pakistan and Iraq. The name of this aircraft has started to be popular since the Afghanistan War in 2001.The use of drones created an argument that drones killed thousands of innocent people. Many people believe that the U.S. should continue the use of drones for fighting terrorists; however, I think the U.S. should end the use of drones for two reasons. …show more content…

According to The New Yorker magazine, drones can carry airhead missiles which can cause an effective casualty radius of about 200 feet. The blast can kill 50 percent of the people within 200 feet of the blast site. In other words, drones could get the right angle to strike, but mostly the wrong people to kill. Many eye witnesses, local media and investigators proved that drones have killed a lot of civilians-children and women, especially after the terrorists strategies have been changed by having no more training campaigns. The strikes have forced them to move to a safer place, so they had left their cities and their families and they began to live among the people. Tracking these individuals, by drones also forced a large number of civilians to leave their own houses and their regions which create a lot of effects on people lives.
