While some people believe that head injuries in football can be overlooked, more precautions need to be taken during the sport. Injuries to the head are important to understand and should be given medical attention immediately. Athletes, parents, and fans will learn to be cooperative with these hits because they can lead to worse things than just a headache or concussion. Doctors say after five, you should stop playing sports. This is important to anyone's life if they want to live. Concussions can and will kill someone if they are not properly taken care of. I get it, you love the sport and would do anything to play it and support the team, but your life is more important. Brain damage plays a huge role when a concussion is in effect. After one, your brain is damaged, but not to a drastic extent. After three to five, your brain is already losing some abilities to function, causing the person to be affected mentally and physically. The brain and body begin to slow themselves down due to the fact that they is injured. If someone exceeds more than five concussions, they are in serious trouble and this is where certain precautions will be taken. No more sports, CAT scan to see brain activity, check for CTE (Chronic Traumatic Encephalopathy). The last one is a big, CTE, because there is no cure for this damage to the brain.
