Estimates show that close to 500 million animals are sacrificed around the world each year for research studies in the experimental laboratories. While it is not easy to obtain precise data, it's getting videos or pictures is quite difficult as out of the tests are done in closed laborers with limited access for people. It is quite unethical that several animals are poisoned, devocalized, burned, starved, made crazy, mutilated, brain damaged, frozen and are subjected to electric shocks without or partial anesthesia. Take religion, for example, in Hinduism, cows is sacred animals. They are therefore regarded as very special animals that must be handled with great care and respect or else a bad omen might befall the society (Gary, 2005). While in other communities, cows are significant beef sources and are even kept in riches and slaughterer for beef and other projects. Pigs are religiously unclean hence must not be kept by Muslims or eaten by Christians. As you can see, these animals, therefore exhibit different morals in the society, based on the religion of the person that they interact
