Embryonic stem cell research is incredible! It’s so beneficial for our health, but the prices we have to pay for it are….not so incredible, but they aren’t horrible. Personally, I want to fund it, but I don’t cause it’s like, you’re killing things (not babies yet) and technically they’re not alive yet, but you’re saving actual people’s lives. I understand the whole religious thing, but if whoever you believe in didn’t want you didn’t want people to invent stem cell research, then why did they allow it? I’m a Christian and I believe that whatever happens is by the will of God. This happened because God allowed it, so I choose to support it. Let me explain.

These in which are called Embryonic Stem Cells. When researchers remove the stem cells from the embryos, which is usually 4-5 days into the blastocyst phase, the embryos usually consist of 50-150 stem cells. I’m sorry to say this but embryos are indeed alive. For example, starfish have no brain,heart, or way to breathe (gills,lungs,etc…), yet they are living creatures. Embryos may not be completely human yet, but they still have hearts, brains, and lungs in development. All you saying they’re not alive and don’t feel pain, you’re right and wrong. They are alive, but as the National Center for Biotechnology Information, U.S. National Library of Medicine says, “Unlike a baby, an early embryo has not developed a nervous system, and it cannot feel terror or pain.
