Personal Statement: Working With Clients

Decent Essays
I am qualified for the position posted not only from my past experience, but also the satisfaction I received from working with clients that are developmentally challenged.
My first involvement, working with challenged adults, began when I was a YMCA camp counselor. I had no idea what I was getting into at the age of 18, but the knowledge I gained was immeasurable. I looked forward to the following summer, and seeing my campers. Patience and understanding were key to my success in later employment in regards to working with clients with developmental challenges.
