I know that having knowledge of electronics is essential for sound engineering as it evolves a lot of electrical equipment, I am currently taking my second year of Level 3 BTEC engineering, and learning about electricity and electronics is part of the course. I also study mathematics and physics in my engineering course, and I know that Sound engineering involves some mathematics, so Calculus, Logic and trigonometry skill will be fundamental to knowledgeable practise. I try to squeeze in all my hobbies into one week. Another major hobby is long distance running, it could be running to school from home, running to gym and running back home from my boxing lesson, I make sure I spend a lot of time on keeping fit so I do not worry about my health when I work on music for very long hours. For about a year, on the weekends, I work from seven am until twelve pm at Holiday in as a Waiter.
Personally I work best on my own, I have patience and am able to cope with long hours and tight deadlines, but also enjoy working with others too. My practical skills are very good, I always find a way even when revising in secondary school, and I try to learn things practically. In terms of working hours, patterns and environment, I can cope in any condition and any time of the day. I am a very energetic person and am able to work for long and irregular hours. Even if it means I can’t take a break, there will be no signs of stress from me because it’s what I am passionate about and it’s my hobby.
My goal is to progress further on to starting my own recording studio and become a music producer.
If I am accepted into the course in your university I am excited and willing to learn and experience more on sounds and music as I believe your university has a lot to offer for my
