my first famous painting was the Bathers at Asnieres which obtained great admiration by the Parisian community due to the introduction of pointillism to the art world as my original movement and that it was possible to convert dots into forms due to the application of the color theory by utilizing complementary colors, analogous colors and various values to produce movement trough color These three years I have been changing and reaffirming my new powerful movement, pointillism. between the latter paintings it is possible to see the Eiffel Tower, The Sunday afternoon on the island of la Grande jatte, and Circus. Without any doubt my strongest piece is The Sunday Afternoon on the Island of la Grande Jatte that took me about two years to finish and it represents the social classes of this country with a dominance of the rich class portrayed. Every person included in it is preoccupied for their own business, it is easy to perceive a quietness in the atmosphere, but one of the interesting details of my painting is the little girl in white, who stares at the audience, which brings several questions to those who see her. Personally talking, color is what brings vivacity, movement and sentiments to my art and my style, but, the problem is that some people consider themselves artists and they argue that their ideas are what assure their artistry. However, like the Yin and Yan, what supports ideas in a painting is color. If you are an artist and you did something marvelous and do not how you did it, be worried, because Art is not only an expression of a five minute inspiration, it contains a technical and consistent part, that is why I argue that some say that they see poetry in my paintings, I see only science. The academy is an exemplification of conservatism that is becoming dogmatism. The fear to let art be transformed, or be free is not what the academy desires due to a traditional style that wants to be mastered but it was already mastered by multiple artists in the past.
