Personal Statement: A Letter To Ray Bans

Decent Essays
The reason I’m sending you this letter is because the other day I bought a pair of Ray Bans from your company and one of your staff members sold me a broken pair. And she definitely knew that she sold me the pair because she told me that she could get me them for cheap.

I would like you to give me a refund for theses glasses. They are all broken. I went back to fix them and she was trying to charge me $100 just for the fix. I have my receipt I would like my $124.00 dollars back. Please contact me as soon as possible 716-585-corps.

I paid invoice NS207 to Holden Services for crane services to unload a leaning container (JBHU 278251 top container) that was set out in Sheffield, AL. Upon inspection, the container was loaded per the AAR Intermodal Loading Rules; Holden then unloaded the bottom container JBHU 241746 which was also compliant with the AAR ILR. SGF Reagh confirmed that the well car (BNSF 253800) was mechanically defective; causing the containers to lean. Both containers were loaded into another well car and sent to destination. In addition, Holden was hired as they were able to respond with a crane quicker than anyone else due to being a local contractor.…

Imagine that you are a young seventeen year old who is nervous right before an interview. You make sure your clothes are perfect, you don’t smell bad, you take one last look in the mirror before you head off and you are reminded by your reflection that you do not fit the “American” mold. All though you are fully aware of this you pack up your nerves and head off to the interview. Thoughts may include, don’t talk too much, answer all that questions right, don’t do anything stupid as you head to the interview. You are interviewing at a store that you already like a lot…

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are facing uncertain times. The once optimistic state is turning sour at the speed of a stunting defensive lineman. The offense seems off at times, and defensive scheme is not being used to the players strengths. This past off season seemed ripe for the taking, we finally had an offense that could win games. The defense looked good considering the late push it provided last season, now they can't stop anybody.…

I am currently enjoying my senior year here at California High School. Although I consider many of my classes to be easy here, the weight of all of this year's homework is already being felt. It is my firm belief that for the sake of our students, a study hall is needed. More than 70% of students in our school are involved in extracurricular activities. I am currently involved in Boy Scouts, band, drumline, youth group, spanish club, math team, academic team, FBLA and also have a part-time job as a bagboy at Cal’s Thriftway to provide the money to save up for college and drive to school to go to all of the club meetings and practices.…

The first I would do is apologize to Ms. Channing for the miscommunication. The next I would do is look at the invoice and see what I could do. I would tell Ms. Channing that because we have a close relationship with the state and appreciate their business I will eat half the cost of the alcohol. The new cost will be 1,750. I would explain to Ms. Channing that anything her and my former…

Volunteering is an essential part of this world. Every day, millions of people around the world struggle with many problems such as: poverty, hunger, homelessness, etc. Without people volunteering to help solve these issues, what would the world be like? Although there are many existing organizations that help with these issues, such as Salvation Army and Meals on Wheels, one that I have found an interest in is Habitat for Humanity. When I was thirteen, my sisters and I tried our hand at filmmaking by entering in Harford County Public Library's book trailer video contest. Our first ever film went on to win second place. With this newfound interest in film, I began spending several hours each week volunteering in the video production department at my church. This volunteer position enhanced my skills and showed me how filmmaking can be used as a powerful agent for social good. When I began my college journey at the age of fifteen, there was no doubt in my mind that filmmaking would become part of my career.…
