I decided to analysis a personal reflection. Several days ago something happened to me that had a major impact on me and changed my life. At first I did not believe that this event would have an impact of me until it happened. It amazes me that we go throughout life preparing for this but when it finally happen we just not ready for it.
When I was five years old my parents got a divorce, being an only child I was upset and a little lonely. My mother decided that we need a dog; we went through several dogs before my best friend came in my life. I remember the day Lulu arrived. The years was 2001, I was seven years old and in the second grade. That day was a very exciting day for me because I played a very important baseball game and my team won. My mother told me for playing hard in the game she have an award for me at the house, I kind of figured it was a dog since I had to give away my last dog. I really wanted another dog. When I got home I rushed through the front door to see a little Pomeranian sitting on the couch. This was the first time I ever seen a dog so small before, she was so small she could fit in one hand. At first Lulu was shy and quite. She growled at us, and she even started to pee on the couch, but she eventually came around. Lulu slept in my room from day one and still does until she got sick and started living with my mother. When I leave for school she would blocked the door and barked at me, however when I came back home she would attack my shoes until I take them off. I call her, Sock Thief, because she would always take my socks and hide them from me. When I moved I got all my socks back because I finally found her hiding place. My mother told me when I was sick; Lulu would lay at the foot of my bed until I was feeling better. She did not let any come near me; she protected me by barking and growling at the person who tried to come near me. Although she was just five pounds in her mind she was bigger than a German Shepard. Last week I went to my mother’s house because I missing Lulu. We sat on the couch and played, she fell asleep on my lap and I did not move

Write about a specific experience that changed how you acted, thought, or felt. Use your experience as a springboard for reflection. Your purpose is not merely to tell an interesting story but to show your readers the importance of that experience for you. Pick an event that is not too personal or too subjective. Something that happened to you or that you observed, an encounter with a person who greatly influenced you, a decision that you made, or a challenge or an obstacle that you faced will be easier to recall (and make vivid for your readers) than an interior experience like a religious conversion or falling in love.…

Interpersonal communication is the process of sending and receiving information between two or more people. It is a person-to-person contact, it includes everyday exchange that may be formal or informal and can take place anywhere by means of words, sounds, facial expression, gestures and postures. Two significant learning points for me during this course was in module 3, using the I-language instead of you-language which gives power over our thoughts, feelings and emotions to others. To take responsibility for your own feelings, rely on I language rather than you language. I language owns thoughts and feelings and does not blame them on others (Wood 125).…

You are in class one day when the teacher announces a new assignment: students are to research and give an informative speech about any topic of their choosing. As the student, imagine that you are terrified to not only present the speech in front of your entire class, but to have to go through the process of picking a topic, researching it, organizing your speech, and practicing it as well. At the beginning of my communication class, this was how I felt about producing and giving speeches. I was nervous to talk in front of the class because I have always been very shy and have suffered from extreme speech apprehension. I also dreaded picking a topic and organizing my speeches as well, since I could never make up my mind and I was never good…
