However, I have always desired to be the president of the United States of America. When I was in elementary school the faculty in the front office even gave me the nickname, Mr. President. Unfortunately, with the way that time has affected american culture deterred me from wanting to be the president. I lost both heart and belief that I could. Recently, I have regained the desire to be the president, but still didn’t think that I would have a chance if I ever ran and also didn’t think that it was even in a realm of possibility for myself. I had already given up on my dream.

My non-vote Presidential Election Being the first year that I can actually vote I was quite disappointed in the candidates that were chosen to be elected for the presidential role. During their speeches I heard many errors in the debates they were conversing about, found nothing interesting in the topics either contender chose to talk about and I slowly became impassive. I personally felt like Trump was only running for the presidential election because his dislike towards Barack Obama. Now many will disagree with me on this but think about it, the first thing he wanted to do when he won the presidential election was to remove Obamacare.…

Little bit of Yankee, little bit of Ya’ll. Maybe a catchy t-shirt slogan, but not necessarily untrue. Having lived half my life in both New England and the South, I often feel like a combination of my two home experiences. Though sometimes difficult, I’ve grown to like the alternate viewpoints I’ve gained living in different locations.…
