When I was about seven years old we were packing the trailer on a Thursday night. To head out the next day once everyone was out of school. Not everyone knows what that is like, but there is a lot of weight involved. Along with huge pieces you take apart and haul to set up again. You have animals that have a lot more control than you do. Now every show you take down the shoots, which are what you put the cattle in while you get them ready to show, and roll them to the trailer and up the ramp. Which usually takes about three people. You also have the show box which is the big rectangular box that has all your clippers, combs, comb holders, sprays, shampoos, hoses, etc. that all are stored in one big box. My brother and dad were rolling the box to the trailer which was one of the easier things. However, now they had to roll it up the ramp, which wasn’t the easiest process. My dad was at the bottom pushing up, and my brother was on the trailer pulling. All of a sudden the box was in the wrong place and fell off of the ramp onto my dad. I didn’t know what to do in that moment because my dad was under it. My brother told me to go get mom which was in the house. I started sprinting to the house freaking out, and ran into the house yelling, “MOM.” We met in the living room and I was crying.
