I got to work closely with John Schneider ("Bo Duke" of The Dukes of Hazard!) in Sandra Brown's: White Hot. I guess I really don't have any great "behind the scenes" tales to tell because I tend to just go to work and chit-chat between scenes. Boring, I guess, but I'm still in touch with Deb(bie) Gibson and man, that woman is ALWAYS working on something! And boy, she really loves her fans.…

Every Life Matters I really only started understanding the meaning of abortion once one of my mom’s friends had one. Before that I had very little knowledge about abortion. My parents have always taught me to stand by what I believe and that others may have different beliefs. They always told me that I would meet people that would disagree with me and what I believe not only when it came to these kind of topics but many other things as well. Being told that, they told me to always respect people’s beliefs and their points of view because everyone has the right to stand by what they believe, just like I do.…

As a child growing up in Rhode Island, the smallest state in the Union, the idea of a vast planet brimming with civilization and culture was more like something out of a fairy tale than it was reality. So, when my father announced that we would be leaving the country to go to Scotland, the home of his and my ancestors, my world began to expand at a rapid pace. This trip could not have been timed more perfectly. The summer of 2007 marked the end of fourth grade, my first year at Saint Mary Academy Bay View.…

The pain began slowly, pricking me with its sharp needles only while doing barre in ballet once a week. I ignored it, believing it to be normal, common discomfort that would soon go away, typical thoughts of a dancer whose entire sport is centered around “good pain”. Six months later, it had escalated to the degree that every step I took felt like an arrow to my knee. Dancing had become impossible, and it was determined that I should be taken to the orthopedist. The bland, brown and beige lobby became extraordinarily familiar as I waited two hours to be examined.…

While I have been a When Calls the Heart fan from Day One, I sometimes lose track of the actors who were a part of the cast in seasons one and two. Thankfully, I am connected with a superb network of Hearties who keep me abreast of such things, and recently, that is exactly what happened. Katelyn Meger, the actress who is fondly remembered as Rachel from When Calls the Heart, has matured into a lovely, young lady whose star is quickly on the ascent. Not too long ago, I had the supreme honor of chatting with this Joey-Award winning actress about her memorable past roles as well as her phenomenal experience with Charlotte 's Song, an independent film that has given her thunderous acclaim. photo credit: Mark Brennan photo credit: Mark Brennan…
