What I am Thankful For
“Thank you” is a simple, yet moving phrase. The words “thank you” cover such a wide spectrum of immeasurable gratitude. There are many people who I need to thank, but the people I must express gratitude to are my Mom, who taught me how to speak and provides me with delicious food to eat everyday , my Dad who introduced me to mathematics , and my 5th grade teacher Mrs. Frye, for motivating me to put forth my best effort in everything I do.

One example which impacted my life to a great extent is that he introduced me to math and logical reasoning. Even though the problems he taught me were two plus two and other basic topics, these lessons cumulated to provide me with a strong math foundation. Although, the small problems you taught me may not seem much to you, but to me they deserve a big thank you.
The final person I would like to thank is my 5th grade teacher Mrs. Frye. Because of her creative lesson plans and educational games and the challenge they possessed, I have since been inspired to put forth my best effort. This universal lesson she presented to me indirectly has helped me in every situation possible. Anything I have accomplished has been mainly in part to this lesson she taught me. Because of her positive impact on my life, it is impossible for me to express my gratitude to

There are a couple of obstacles that have played a major role in me becoming who I am today. A couple years ago I was a completely different person. I was out of shape physically, my academic performance was very poor, and I had a terrible attitude. I improved greatly in athletics and my academic career.…

There was a day in particular when my dad sat me down and had a conversation with me and told me “if you don't know how to do something, don't look for others for help, instead learn to figure it out.
