Personal Narrative: Toyota Prius C Four

Decent Essays
The loan I chose was the National Bank for 6 years. If I chose this loan, I would pay $461.25. The total finance amount would come out to $33,210. For six years, I would be paying 72 months for my Toyota Prius C Four. The car price including tax would be $21,573.34 for my loan. If I changed my loan and place, there would be different times, interests, and the monthly payment.

For my car, I chose the Toyota Prius C Four. I decided to finance this car because I believe it’s the perfect family car. This car is my favorite color, and it is one of the newer version too. The most important feature of the Toyota Prius C Four is that it can seat 4 besides the driver seat. It has enough storage area in the back and it is a nice color. I've always

On a beautiful clear morning of February the 19th, my mom picked me up from my class at the University of West Georgia, then we went to Waffle House to have a nice breakfast. We left from Waffle House, proceeding down Maple Street, and turned onto South Street and immediately onto Kenner Street. We then turned onto on the merging lane on South Park Street (US Hwy 27) heading south, we immediately halted to a full stop as vehicles moved from the middle lane into the merging lane in front of us, but at that time there were no vehicles behind us. As we waited to enter traffic, a car suddenly struck us from behind which caused the car to jerk violently forward, causing my mother’s chest to hit the steering wheel, and our heads and bodies to whip forward and then back.…

The monthly payment was $149 versus $89, but my flight pay was $200, and Per Diem was $16 a day. Further, we had finished paying off Sarah’s student loan so we could afford it. It was a great car to drive, but after a couple months I found out there were considerable maintenance requirements- much more than the 356. First, Porsche designed the carburetors with an overflow gas bowl which, in theory, would keep a perfect gas level, but in practice didn’t. Spark plugs would load up with carbon every 3,000 miles and needed cleaning or replacing.…

Cruising for my dream car project taught me things that I didn’t know before. One of the things that I learned is that you pay interests depending on the length of the loan. If you pay the loan in less time, for example 48 months then I would pay the interest rate of 1.93% but if I decide to pay it in 60 months then I would pay an interest rate of 2.04%. Another factor that affects the percentage of interest you paid is your credit. If you have good credit then your interest rate will be less.…

After five hours under Mrs. Gonzalez’s 1997 Plymouth, my hands were so dirty I had to wash them ten times just to see my fingernails again. She was a familiar face around the shop, given that neighborhood thieves had routinely targeted her car. This time, though, they had gone too far. Someone had crawled underneath the car and cut out the valuable catalytic converter, and she couldn’t afford a replacement. When I looked at her and said, “That’ll be $563,” her face turned pale.…

The goals of this model were for it to have enough space (compact size), more weight in the rear with the engine and a light unassisted steering. But the major problem with this model was that it was unquietly unstable because of having a rear engine and an independent swing axle suspension system that on cornering maneuvers, it induced the wheels to tuck under the car and destabilize it and cause it to roll over. The Corvair's single-piece steering column was also a problem if it would happen that the car is involved in a front collision. It could impale the driver during this type of…

My desire for cars begun in my early years in high school, my friends would drive me to and from school, usually we would go to out and grab a bite at restaurants, and occasionally shop at local stores in the Denver metro area, time management was so easy. My first car was something that I greatly was looking forward to getting as a child and my interest in getting one grew, as the days got closer to my sixteenth birthday. The first car I owned was a Automatic Black 2004 Ford f-150 truck, which I discovered on a website called Craigslist. It was priced at five thousand nine hundred dollars with only eighty-four thousand miles on it, which in my case was great considering that I could only afford a seven thousand dollar car. The truck came with all manual locks and windows and also had a small amount of hail damage that could really only be seen at a certain angle. But even with reasonable price on the truck I still attempted to negotiate for an even lower price to further my luck.…
