Personal Narrative: The Lauria

Improved Essays
The Lauria’s: Greg, Jill, Alexis, Hannah, and Lindsay. This family of five has a bond so unbelievably strong, it can never be broken. There is so much joy, love, and happiness between everyone. We are like a puzzle, if one piece is missing, we are not complete. My family means so much to me, and without them I would not be the person I am today. My dad is the rock of our family. He protects us and keeps us safe. He is also the most humorous person you will ever meet. My dad is always making us laugh, all the time! He is not only funny, but also very smart. He teaches my sisters and I everything there is to know, from saving our cash, to teaching us how to cook. Dad is a very hard worker, and puts 100% effort into everything he …show more content…
Out of every person to have as a sister, I got Alexis. She is my best friend, and I would be so lost without her. She guides me on the right path, and teaches me how to handle life. From kicking butt in soccer together to eating too many poptarts, she has always been there for me. I thank my parents for the best gift they have ever given me: my older sister.
Life without Lindsay would be like life without sugar. I would not be sweet, it would not be exciting, and there wouldn’t be anything to shake it up every once in awhile. I love having a younger sister, it always makes life entertaining. I watched Lindsay grow up into a beautiful, athletic, honest, and caring little girl. I was always there for her when she needed me, but honestly I think I needed her more than she needed me! She taught me many things, and I hope I can do the same for her. There is no way to not love Lindsay, it’s a fact!
Being apart of a family means you will love and be loved for the rest of your life. No matter what. Sometimes we might argue or fight but in the end family is family, and we will always love each other and will be there for one another. In the Bible it says that family is God’s greatest masterpiece. This is and will always be true. My family is the most important thing in the world, and I love them more than words can
