At first, it didn’t look to good for the Browns. After three and outs from both teams, the Ravens struck first. The defense was fooled by the fake hand off to Justin Forsett and Joe Flacco went unscathed to score from one yard out.
On the next possession, Josh McCown orchestrated a scoring drive, although it wasn’t quite what fans wanted. The drive ended in a successful 43 yard field goal by Travis Coons.

The defense held their ground and kept Baltimore from scoring anymore points in the first half. Additionally, McCown led the Browns on quick drive with just over a minute remaining. Cleveland added three more points before halftime making the score 14-9.
The second half was full of excitement and would not disappoint. Despite Cleveland receiving the kickoff, it was Baltimore who scored first. Joe Flacco rushed for touchdown while jumping over the pile in the process.
So the moment we were all waiting for, the shootout. Despite two successful challenges by the Ravens, taking back two big plays, the next drive resulted in a Josh McCown rushing touchdown. The Browns now trailed 21-16.
After forcing a punt, Cleveland started their comeback. McCown rolled out of the pocket and found Taylor Gabriel open, 56 yards downfield. Two plays later, Gary Barnidge made a circus catch with his legs and rolled into the end zone. Despite a failed two point conversion, the Browns still held a 22-21 advantage.
