Personal Narrative: The City Of Chicago

As one of the biggest cities in the United States, Chicago stretches two hundred and thirty seven miles through the state of Illinois. Chicago has roughly two million people living in one city which is one of the many reasons it is unique. That is more people than the whole state of Iowa. The town of Chicago is one unique city compared to small town Fort Madison with the super structures over towering the city, the cultural differences in the food variety there, and ethnically diverse music are some things I can’t find in Fort Madison. When I think of Chicago the first thing that comes to my mind is; the multiple story, high rise, super structures we call skyscrapers. My favorite thing was the New York Style hot dog. The hot dog was big and juicy, topped with thick red ketchup, with giant circular sized pickles, and shreds of onions that anyone can smell down the street. I was very surprised to find my favorite dessert in Chicago as well. There was a small little shop the sold gelato (somewhat like ice cream) that was imported from Rome. It was rich, creamy, and tasted like heaven. It was a hot day in Chicago when I got my gelato, so not only did it taste good, it helped cool me down. As I continued my adventure in Chicago I walked upon a taco stand. I was a little hesitant at first to try tacos from this taco stand because it did not seem very promising because of the condition of the stand that tacos were sold in.. I was surprised because they were the best tacos I have ever tasted. The meat was very juicy and flavor. While the vegetables were very fresh and crunchy. It was nothing like any of the tacos I had ever tasted here in Iowa. Not only did they have these kinds of foods in this town, but they also have more, so anyone is bound to find something in that city that you
