Taking a stand means standing up for what you believe in. I have done this many times before. One time I was at Flint park walking by myself. I could smell the green grass under my feet and the sky was as blue as a lake filled with water. Suddenly I saw some high schoolers in 11th grade walk over to a 6th grader name Conner. Conner was short and small. I remembered seeing him back in elementary school. He never had many friends and I always tried to help him out. The high schoolers were smoking and looked up to no good. They walked over to Connor and called him a piece of shit. They kept drilling mean insults at him. He looked afraid and helpless. I couldn't stand by and watch. He looked like a newborn baby bright red and frightened.
