It only had two loops and no drop. I had never been on all the big rides/main attractions like El Toro, Nitro, or Green Lantern. So when Jimmy convinced me to go on the tallest roller coaster in the world, Kingda Ka, I must have been out of my mind... and I was. …show more content…

All I could watch was the bright green car speeding down the track faster than a gazelle being chased by a hawk. The bright yellow sun against the light blue sky was blinding me, making the car go out of view for a moment, then seeing it already at the top. The only thing that I could think of was the giant, green, vertical drop that I was about to confront. I could tell Jimmy was trying to keep me distracted. He would ask something very irrelevant like, “The yankees lost last night”, or “What great weather it is right?” However, nothing could keep my mind from facing the reality of what is about to go down. What was I doing on this line I asked myself constantly. This kept me distracted until we got to top of the

Six Flags Last year I decided to go to Mozzeria for my deaf event, and this year I knew that I wanted to do something different. When I heard that Six Flags was devoting a day for the deaf, I marked my calendar because I figured it would be different than the typical restaurant scene. The only problem was that I didn’t want to go alone, and I knew that my mom and sister wouldn’t want to go. I asked Alex if he wanted to go with me and he said he would have to see, he texted me later and said that he would love to go and that his mom could drive us both there.…

I remember the gut wrenching feeling in my stomach as my best friend and I approached the tallest and fastest roller coaster at Hershey Park, called SkyRush. I am not sure why I agreed to go on this roller coaster, considering most of the time at amusement parks I entertain myself with food, and miniature rides that stay level to the ground. Unlike me, my friend liked the rush and heart dropping feeling of being at the apex of a roller coaster and then dropping down at maximum speed. Personally, I preferred the ground, where I remained in full control of my own safety. Yet that afternoon I found myself standing in line for SkyRush.…
