The first thing we saw as
we arrived was the Statue of Liberty. As we arrived they sent doctors to check us
out before we exited the boat. The doctors only did around 10 second check-ups
for each person. They were just making sure we weren't deathly ill before we
went into Ellis Island. Officers were the next people we saw. They handed us
identity tags that were numbered. After that all of us walked in a path to enter the
intriguing red building.
Once we were inside we had to walk up a large set of stairs. There was
doctors and officers at the top that were watching us as we climbed the stairs. We
had to leave all of our bags in the Baggage Room. They had a concession stand in
