My grandma is caring, giving, selfless, nice and positive. My grandmother has had many health issues. She has oxygen tanks attached to her nose, she had lung cancer and pneumonia many times. Even through all of these terrible things, you would never hear a negative word out of her. When grandma had lung cancer it was hard for the whole family. Lung cancer is referred to as a death sentence. Instead of worrying before getting tested, she made and froze meals for my grandpa so that if she wasn't feeling well enough, he could still eat home cooked meals. My emotions for her were to (when I was 4 or 5) be sad because she could barely walk and I felt like she was always getting left out. Although now I look up to her. She is an amazing cook, probably the best in the family. I see her smiling in the window watching the kids play, and I wish that she could be there playing with us, but when we come over and talk to her, and maybe play a game or two, I see the light shining through her crystal blue eyes. Then I can tell that she loves being with us. She doesn't feel bad for herself, she feels glad for herself.
