Personal Narrative: My Experience With Learning Disabilities

During grades second, fourth,and fifth grade most of my teachers thought that I had a learning disability because I would read at a slower pace than my peers. In second grade, my teacher singled me out of the other groups that my classmates were majority in and she put me in a group, where the other students were barely adjusting to English as a second language. I was only about six or seven-years-old, when that event happened to me. Therefore, I started to believe that something was wrong with me, so I started practicing reading how much words I could read a minute by my mother timing me on an alarm
