To always keep in touch throughout the week long days, he would send a handwritten note to his parents. He only had about thirty minutes to write that letter or just relax. Normally in his free time he would send a letter, relax. The biggest thing my Dad did was get ready for the next day , he would get out his green fatigue uniforms, do some of his laundry, he would clean his shoes or boots and also he could go off base for a bit.
Memories were made a lot in the military. One of his favorite memories was all of the friendships he made with his fellow troop members. The friends you make in the military are aslo like your teammates during the military. They all work together to strive for victory. The worse memories were very large and uncountable, one was missing his family members and friends for too long and not having them by his side for confidence and boost of teamwork.
His favorite job he did in the military was operating equipment. That job carried out throughout his lifetime, still till this day he operates equipment for living. He got a few cuts and bruises here and there . Some of his fellow members from the military has gotten seriously injured in the past.Seeing a friend get hurt can be heart breaking. One of my Dad’s friends in the military with him did get shot in the arm and had to go get quick help. The food helped my Dad have energy and a bit of boost every morning and the food there was great. They served three course meals and had different ones each day.
Stress can manifest military troops in many ways . How my dad managed stress was he went to his room and would close his eyes and just think about life itself and think about the wrongs and rights he might of done in the military. He would also make sure that he had enough sleep that day. Sleep was big for my dad, he would wake up early in the morning to train or just to get ready for that day to start.
The uniforms were a statements piece of the military. The uniforms were green fatigues and was the same every day. They wore long green uniforms with a cuffed ending at the bottom of the pants which also had two pockets on the back and front. They also had green long sleeve jackets with a light green pull over shirt underneath it. For shoes they wore plain black tall boots, and made sure they were always clean. Lasty, they always wore a black hat with white
