When I walked into my new school for my last few years of high school I see many cliques lining the hallways, which were never a real thing in my old school, groups made up of nerds, popular kids, jocks and their cheerleaders, theatre hideouts, etc. With all these patrolling the hallways and shooting icy glares at the new girl walking to the office with a full backpack and her mom (which happens to be the new English teacher) replacing their ever so loved Mr. Johnson, was not exactly the best foot to get off on.

Of course the new girl can’t resist a social outing without wanting total social suicide. So I had no choice but to go. When I showed up there were people everywhere so I looked solely for Juliette figuring she’d be easiest to find, being so tall and all. I must have looked lost, as this dark handsome boy approached me asking if I needed help. He had these light grey/blue eyes that I got so distracted in, I couldn’t even mutter out the words I was trying to say or think of easier ones. Finally Juliette saved me and broke the silence.
