Personal Narrative-I M Henery Hudson The Explorer

It was a beautiful morning in April on solid ground which in one way it felt wrong. My legs were jelly as if I sat in one position for a very long time. I could smell the salt from the ocean. It reminded me of so many memories as a kid. I grew up with sailors and fishermen and that’s all I ever knew. Was telling which way the sun rises and sets. Or what to do if there was a storm and not to seek shelter but take care of the ship. I did not know what to do in the city. I didn’t know how to act around other people. All I knew was that I’m Henery Hudson the Explorer. As I started waking up I heard a knock on the door so I sprung out of bed with my pajamas on. And there was no one at the door.I looked down and found a letter with fancy lettering is said “Muscovy Company.” So I got my morning tea and sat down and read the letter. …show more content…
About my second voyage how it wasn't my fault it was the stupid dutch guide. I knew to never trust him but I was paid to captain the ship. And that’s what I loved doing. But through all the pages they finally came to a decision and when I “you have one more chance.” I nearly jumped out of my skin Im sure if I was any fattier I would have fallen through the floor with excitement. When I worked on my Eagle project, I had to communicate between my troop, the homeless shelter I was working for, the people I was buying supplies from, and the people who were helping me raise funds. I had never built a patio or barbeque area, nor had I refurbished a bench before, so I took careful notes from both a contractor and a handyman to ensure I did it right. To get the project approved, I wrote a 14-page proposal, and then raised $1000. Then, due to an irremovable deadline, I ended up doing the project the same week as my SAT and all three of my AP tests. It was one of the most mentally and emotionally draining challenges I had in my life, and not everything went smoothly.…

My previous camping trips I have taken in the past years have been memorable and full of hardship. I consider myself a very outgoing and adventurous person, that is why I go on crazy trips. Canoeing is my preferred way of traveling when touring lakes and rivers such as the Boundary waters and the Flambeau river. Major disadvantage of canoes is that they weigh up to 85 pounds. The weight matters being when crossing land to get to the next lake the canoe goes on your shoulders to carry it.…

There’s a little slice of Heaven in Marshall, Texas, where the sun shines through the pines and the sound of cicadas serenade you throughout your afternoon and the lake shines like a plate of polished silver in the early morning sun. When I first came to Camp Fern, I was on my own. Everyone else had known each other for at least two years, so I was the odd one out. In my cabin there was the usual sort. There was the popular one, the attention seeker, the joker, and the one you love to hate.…

I was heading out the door of my two story home in the middle of nowhere. I held in one last breath of the sweet smelling pines next to my house as I headed to my car for the big trip.
