Personal Narrative: I Built My Egg Drop

Decent Essays
I built an egg drop. I made it out of pop sicell sticks. I also used some rubber bands. I also used a parachutts. I had small sticks and big sticks. I had a great time building this.

When I built my egg drop I had it planned out before I built it. I crossed 4 sticks. Then I put 4 sticks going up. Then I doubled up 2 rubber bands and put cross wise. Then I got to big sticks and glued them in a cross. Then I drilled holes in them. Then in the holes I put the yarn in the holes and attached it to my parachutt.

I dropt mine first, mines didn’t crack. I was so happy it didn’t crack. I was super nervous. I think mine did good. I let it go and it just floated down. I think some peoples needed improvement. I think mine could use a little work too.

I started the process by watching several YouTube videos that demonstrated the basics of a Rube Goldberg machine (i.e., balls rolling, random ramps, many moving parts, etc.)…
