He seemed puzzled, and informed me that I am required to submit all company property at my possession and any unfinished work. I realized that losing a job could be a catastrophic event for some. But I knew that my God is faithful, and I knew my future is secured by my savior - the Lord Jesus. Because He is a provider, I knew that He will not let me down. Thus, I determined then not to entertain any idea from the enemy. If I was to entertain thoughts from the enemy, I knew I will lose on what God has to offer me. Therefore I thanked my boss for all the good time and proceeded to hand over my duties. As I say good bye to him, he asked for my plans. I told him that I am registered to attend classes at a community college, and that day was my first day for the semester. What a coincidence! I went home that night and shared the news to my wife. We have only been married for only for about eight months then.I was reassured to hear her say that "the Lord Jesus is in charge of our lives." She told me that we will have to continue to pray. I agreed, and we prayed about our future. God answered our prayers in many fronts. And we started to see the goodness of God in a short time. Our newly established business started to bear fruit. I managed to work with my wife, and attend classes. At the end of that semester, I managed to achieve A in both courses that I was taking. And at the end of the year we became parents of a lovely son, Nathanael - a gift from God. These became the foundation for what had to come. These five years have taught me to trust in God.
