I was more concerned with the fact that I went under anesthesia wearing boxers, and woke up with nothing on under my nightgown. I never got the full explanation on what happened to my missing boxers. To this day, i'm still a little salty about the whole situation. All jokes aside, the operation was a full success and now I began my road to recovery. I was required to keep my arm in an elaborate sling for the first three weeks. After those three weeks I was able to attend physical therapy. Starting off slow, my first couple sessions were spent doing slight movements to get mobility and flexibility back. I would go three times a week to get treatments but that was the only physical activity I was allowed to partake in. Up until surgery, I was active every day. I was either working out, practicing, or playing in game. As a result of being inactive for so long and keeping the same eating habits, I gained weight, and lost muscle mass. The four month period I was inactive, was one of the hardest times of my life. I was overweight, out of shape, and in pain every day. In Spite of that; I knew I would get through it and get back to myself when the time was right. When I was able to workout again, I hit the gym seven days a week and kept going to the sessions of physical therapy. Five months post surgery, one week before football camp started, I was cleared to play football. I was not one
