Humans are competitive and always be trying to get faster, better, stronger. Performing enhancing drugs are a major talking point in professional sports. PEDs should be legalized for research to determine for their efficacy and safety for athletes trying to go beyond the human limits. However, we shouldn’t forget to reward the players who are playing naturally. While we should allow more research in the field of PEDs, their use until their value has been assessed should be restricted in professional sports. This is important to mainly athletes and everyone in the world. People can be treated by PEDs in their health conditions. The argument about PEDs doesn’t always have to be directed to athletes and their fans. Scientists have been hesitant in researching PEDs openly and making it accessible to the public. Athletes would get safer drugs than now and would be willing to use them if the research on PEDs advances. One of the main reason PEDs are not generally used is because the concern about athletes’ health. Allowing more research on each PED can reduce the dangers and even make the drug better for athletes to use.
