II. Importance of having patience
Patience is the ability of control emotion and to tolerate waiting and frustration by being upset. Patience has been derived from Latin word “pati” which means to suffer, to bear.
Benefits of Having Patience
• Makes you happy – When you learn to have patience, you will not get stressed or angry. You will feel calmness, can control emotions, which will make you happy.
• Quick Decision Making – When you are calm, you get extra time to think about the situation and take decision. Without anxiety, you can make quick and better decision. The chances of making mistakes become less and you can be good problem solver.
• Helps you grow – With patience, you get clarity of mind. Growth involves proper planning and its implementation. It does not happen overnight, takes time. If you don’t have patience, you will lose focus from your goal. How to develop Patience • Think before you speak – At times, we speak out something with or without intention, without being aware about the consequences. If we are patience, we should think before we speak to avoid hurting the feelings of people. • Evaluate stress points - We should figure out the stress points. See how others are dealing with such stress levels to solve your reason of being impatient. You should be open minded and have patience under work pressure. • Be responsible - Running away from responsibility will make you weak. However if the situation being dealt with patience, you will grow stronger than you have ever been. • Forget the result – You should focus on your goal, than thinking about the outcome. The journey to reach your goal is most important and should be dealt with fun. III. Articles Articles is a short word are usually expressed by nouns. An article is used to differentiate between things or ideas. There are three articles – a, an, the. It’s simple, but can make big difference if used incorrectly. Article Definite Article Indefinite Article Indefinite Article The non- specified noun - “a” or “an”, are indefinite article. It means, we are not talking about particular person, place or thing. It can be anyone, nobody specific. Here, focus should be on constant and vowel. e.g. I spent an hour waiting for you to come. She is a doctor and he is an interior designer. Definitive Article The specific Noun – “the” are definite article. e.g. It is the best day of my life. The Taj Hotel, The Time of India Day 87 Games and Practical Day Word chain. This is a fun game to build vocabulary. The teacher starts out by giving one word. Ex: Deer. The first student needs to form a word from the last letter of the word said. So the first student will form a word from the letter ‘R’ and so on. Points to remember: 1. Play at least two rounds so that the complexity of words increases. 2.
