I too wrote about the Palace of Knossos because I was interested in its mythology. If you are interested, I recommend you to take a look at the Throne Room in the Knossos Palace. What is interesting about the Throne Room is that it is not meant for their ruler, but a place where the Snake Goddess received her sacrifices. In the Minoan mythology the Snake Goddess, is known to be a protector of the house, which is why you can see paintings of the Goddess throughout the palace.
