But, I would call them everyday and tell them of all the amazing places we saw on our trip to Modesto. My dad would take us out a lot and we got to know almost all parts of Modesto, which we liked. Apparently, things were beginning to get better, I was making friends due to learning English. Then we moved to Hughson, California, where the school was a bit better since most of the people from there were from the same city I came from and they spoke Spanish. Time passed, and I had already learned the basic English and It was now easier for me to communicate or understand in school. I won recognitions from teachers that were proud of the progressed, I had made in school. I wanted to take advantage of the opportunity this country gave me. For example, the free education it gave me and the opportunity to be someone important in life just like I had dreamed. I met pretty nice people from here, some of them were from Mexico, what I liked the most was how some people tried to speak with me when I didn’t know English, and I saw that as a friendly person. This obstacle was hard I admit It, but now looking back at it, It's just a small obstacle for me. I know I still have a hard time speaking English without my accent, but I know all improve that by practicing. In fact, I do like this language, but it’s still kind of hard to speak perfectly with
