Every person endures their own unique challenges, but the determining factors that separate some apart from the masses are whether they overcome the endurances posed. The problems that occur during any given person's lifetime are ultimately obstacles and test in a sense because you can either learn or dwell off of the experience. Personally, I have gone through some trying experiences at a relatively young age, but I have decided that continually thriving through the mist of my problems is the only way. A large majority of my outlook on the world is credited to my mother, who told me to continue to excel and achieve the absolute best that the world has to offer before she passed from breast cancer. That has ultimately been my strength and passion for continuing to strive to achieve my greatest potential while …show more content…
For instance, I was doubted from a very young age by some of my administrators and teachers, who are supposed to inspire and encourage, regarding going to college and finishing in the top ten percent of my high school class. In their eyes, I was just a young boy with big dreams about want I was capable of accomplishing in the future. Even though instances where I have been underestimated in regards to my academic ability, I have in turn used that to motivate me to prove every doubter wrong. On the other hand, I have been raised in a single parent household for majority of high school due to my mom passing from a five year battle with breast cancer. This has subsequently affected the financial stability that my parents have struggled to maintain over the course of my life. This ultimately caused for my dad to change jobs to appropriately care for myself and my two siblings to the best of his ability.
