A. Paul in his letter to the Corinthians emphasizes that Israel’s sin was so severe that
“The sacrifice of his life was the huge gift necessary to offer God on the Day of Atonement. That is what Paul meant when he said, "God was in Christ, reconciling the world to himself, not counting their trespasses against them, and has given to us the reckoning of reconciliation" (2 Cor. 5:19)”

VI. Conclusion (one page) Jesus death was a necessity for atonement, so He could cover our sins and for this reason Christian’s can claim victory. Through the blood of Christ on the cross shows we are redeemed because Jesus won the battle and instead of death there is a renewed sense of hope. This brings us full circle to the very beginning in Genesis where Satan defeated the female, but her seed would be destructible to him (Gen.3:15). There was a purpose to Jesus’s sacrificial death.
The Apostle Paul in Romans 3:21-26 makes the connection for all who undoubtedly deserve God’s wrath the cross satisfied the wrath against sin so that His holiness was not compromised by forgiving sinners in part because God poured all that anger on to
