At first, he hired Jewish workers because they were cheap labor, but when the Nazi’s hatred increased he felt bad and hired Jews despite their abilities. In 1942 the Jews from Krakow were being moved to labor camps and a lot of them were Oskar’s employees. Immediately, Oskar raced to the train station and told the SS officer that these workers were needed for war efforts. After several minutes of arguing Schindler free “his Jews”. Furthermore, in 1943 the Nazis placed a liquidation camp in Krakow which was strictly run by Amon Goth. Instantly, Schindler created a relationship with Goth which he used to save his Jew’s lives by bribing Goth. Soon after this, in 1944 this labor camp was changed to a concentration camp and all Jews were going to be sent to Auschwitz. Schindler asked Goth if he can relocate his factory to Brnenec. Next, he was told to write a list of workers he wanted to bring with him. Heroically, Schindler wrote down 1,100 Jewish names he “needed” for his factory. Permission was given and his factory was
