Orthodontics is a specialty within dentistry that is especially dedicated to study, diagnose and treat malformations and defects of the teeth in humans. The most common defects that exist around the denture are: the shape, position, relationship and function of dentomaxillofacial, among other structures. Then any oral problem, Orthodontics will take care to prevent, diagnose, and if necessary, correct the existing alterations, to thus recover the proper disposal and dental health.
