1. Introduction
Oral health is an essential part of general health and well-being. Although largely preventable, many people in the world are still suffering from pain due to oral disease (Jawdekar 2013). That disease is one of the most costly diseases, for instance the cost for dental caries treatment can exhaust a country’s health care budget for children. However if this condition is ignored, the cost will be higher in the future regarding the financial, social and personal impacts (Kwan et al 2005).

Oral health promotion defined as ‘any process which enables individuals or communities to increase control over the determinants of their oral health’ (Kay & Locker 1997). Oral health promotion is aimed to maintain oral health improvement and diminish social inequalities trough intervention that is directed to social determinant (Mbawalla 2013).
