Students should be allowed to eat lunch off campus because it will teach them responsibility, as well as it being a stress reliever and a social situation skill builder.

Teaching a valuable skill that is essential for college and future employment. Time management skills are only learned through experience. Time management is something all high school students are told about while we are here for 4 years. All teachers tell us how important it is to learn this skill for our future jobs, and the rest of our education. It helps in learning how to get all of your things done in a certain amount of time. At least the upperclassman. Let us prove to them that we can be responsible and that we need to learn these lessons for later in life. Make off-campus lunch possible for upperclassmen. With more than two years of high school under our belts, braces freshly off and more than 50 hours experience behind the wheel, we should be eligible. We need to prove to the teachers and rest of the staff that we can handle deciding where and what we want to eat at lunch without being late to class and or being reckless when leaving from and returning to school. They should give us a chance to show ourselves. We want freedom so we will work for it. Set a no-tolerance truancy policy, only having off-campus lunch on certain days, or anything within reason. Let us prove to you that teenagers can be responsible, cautious and, more importantly, mature
