Old Man Mcgee Chapter Summary

Trailing down a long winding path through the desert Rusty has his daily tear down on Eddie telling him how less of a real man he is. To change the subject he ask Rusty what he’s going to do with his cut when they finish the mission they’re currently on. After he gets an answer that he didn’t want to hear they ask the other cowboys the same question. Old Man McGee tells them what his son, and he has planned. The other two tell their plans, and they continue down the trail.

They come to the infamous Dead Man Valley where they sense something is not right. They all bolt into the valley where they figure out it’s a death trap set by a Indian warrior clan that occupy the valley. After a long struggle to survive Rusty and the others meet their

In the morning they make it to Dead Man Valley where they see the Native warriors that stopped the others from making it back. They were there to let the town posse know that they can pass through however there is no coming back.

They are all able to make it to the rendezvous point in the large but abandoned town. Porter figures something is not right when he notices that it has been too long and his people are nowhere to be found. He breaks the crew up into three groups and they spread out to search for the pickup.

Porter’s group searches their section and they stumble upon the caravan that had the food but finds them all dead. It finally becomes clear to him that this is a trap. He gets his team to working on the broken down carriage the others came on. They succeed and manage to survive an ambush, and then they make their way to the starting point.

While this is happening Ethane and Elliott’s group notice there are a couple of Native warriors behind them ready to strike. In the midst of everything they decide to strike first and in doing so they are split up and forced to retreat into separate buildings. As they hide in their respective buildings, the two sides form a plan. After finding a way to get back together bad of lawmen and criminals alike meet up at the starting point with
