In the beginning the Earth was covered in light and all was plentiful and good. One fateful day a bunch of animals gathered together wanting to bring eternal darkness to the world. All the nocturnal animals such as Fox, Owl, and Coyote all decided the harsh light needed to come to an end. Owl volunteered to fly into the sun and destroy it forever. He flew up and away into space and found darkness. The darkness was a celestial being named Old Lunar. The owl explained how it was unfair to only have light in the world and Old Lunar agreed and began to permanently block out the Sun Goddesses powerful rays. Owl returned to Earth and was praised by all his night time animals and reassured them that they shall never see the light of day again. Many day animals struggled to see and execute the skills they needed to survive …show more content…
The Tribe and its animals battled the night creatures while the Sun Goddess fought Old Lunar. Flashes of light and dark filled the sky like violent unstoppable beams. The earthly battle continued but both sides warriors began to grow weak. The tribes and all the animals on both sides simultaneously surrendered. However, The Sun Goddess still fought for light in the Darkness. Old lunar was stubborn but this battle could not go on forever. The Sun Goddesses eternal power stayed string while Ols Lunars was slowing dying away. He knew it was time to surrender or he would dye. The Sun goddess proposed a treaty that allow each of them to shine their powers. The Sun would shine for the first part of day and half way through night would fall. This benefited the people and allowed plentiful growth and better resting periods and the night animals got their period of darkness. Old Lunar learned to cooperate with the Sun Goddess. Everyone rejoiced with a feast and joined together and ate in harmony. Peace was restored to the world and the treaty between the Sun Goddess and Old Lunar continues to this
