Occupational Therapists deal with the whole person; because of this I understand that our profession can be difficult and messy at times. Patients will come to us under many circumstances. I have worked hard to retain knowledge and maintain high grades in my Pre-Occupational Therapy undergraduate courses as they relate to my Bachelor of Health Science degree. My life experience and work have also prepared me because I have spent my 14-year career in after-life esthetic services, and currently at Lifebanc, successfully working with people from all walks of life with all types of personalities, idiosyncrasies, and personal struggles. I have applied my life-long gift of creativity to think outside of the box to come up with solutions to solve sometimes complex problems. I will use the solid foundation of the Science’s that I have acquired and combine it with my personal artistic approach to give knowledgeable and quality care to all of my prospective patients.
I look forward to gaining knowledge in all specialties of the field of Occupational Therapy during the continuation of my studies. At the time that I complete my Master of Occupational Therapy Degree I would ultimately like to work with our Veterans.
