Having high cholesterol can increase the risk of developing a stroke or heart disease. Coronary heart disease is the leading cause of death in both men and women. It narrows the small blood cells that supply blood and oxygen to the heart. Sleep apnea is a condition where the breathing repeatedly stops because of a blockage of the airway. Another cause is cancer, cancer of the esophagus, kidneys, gallbladder are associated with obesity.
