People with violent brains may suffer neurological complications which may cause them to behave the way they do. These complications may include but are not limited to hereditary traits, medical conditions, and poor communication and operation within the brain. They are responsible for most of the violent behaviors present. Although one might argue that violent behavior may stem from a more predominant perspective, I strongly believe that many nonviolent people are exposed to many of the same external stimuli as violent people and they are not violent because their brains function properly. Overall, the neuroscience perspective appears to be good way to explain violent behavior as “normal brains” generally aren’t violent. However, other perspectives may be better at explaining other characteristics of a violent person’s behavior. When looking at the case studies viewed in class, many of the individuals who were examined seemed to share a common aspect; their brains were not the same as most
