One of the pillars of National Honors Society is that of leadership. Members are expected to direct and motivate their peers. I believe I exemplify leadership skills through my position as a manager of the yearbook. I am extremely passionate about creating Yorktown’s yearbook, which is why I was thrilled to be given such a great responsibility this year. The task takes plenty of time and effort, however, my dedication to the class makes it all worthwhile. My job started over the summer when I came to school multiple times to meet with Ms. Solomon, the yearbook supervisor.
